IES 2019 NOTIFICATION
Indian Engineering Services (IES) 2019 will be conducted in the month of January 2019. Candidates are called in to apply for the examination from 26th September 2018 (tentative).
Union Public Services Commission will be organizing the examination for the IES 2019.
The tentative dates are shared here. It is advised though the candidates must keep a track on the regular updates for any changes in the dates of the examination.
Important Dates of IES 2019 Event: Date (tentative)
Notification Publication: 26th September 2018
Application starts: 26th September 2018
Last date of application: 22nd October 2018
Admit card for the preliminary round: 2nd week of December 2018
Date of the prelim exam: 6th January 2019
Result: 2nd week of February 2019
Admit card for the Mains exam: 1stweek of June 2019
Mains exam: 1st week of July 2019
Personality test or Interview: July 2019
IES 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The aspirant must verify if they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the IES 2019 examination. Candidates, if do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
IES 2019 Notification is necessary that the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check the criteria.
If the application forms are filled with misguiding or false information, it will be canceled and no refund would be initiated against application fee.
The candidate must belong to Indian Nationality.
The candidates will be provided the eligibility if they belong to the selected regions outside India as described in the rules of UPSC.
The candidate is advised to check the main article for complete information.
Candidate must be of 21 years and maximum age limit can be extended up to 30 years.
There is no privilege for any reserved category candidate.
The candidate must hold a graduation degree in Engineering, from a recognized university.
Various other acceptable examination certification that is acceptable by the UPSC Board is mentioned in the official notification.
Candidates aspiring for IES must be medically fit.
The standards asked by the IES is mentioned in the official notification.
If the candidate does not fulfill the criteria while the medical examination is conducted, the candidature of such candidate will be canceled.
IES 2019 Application
Candidates will be visiting the official website for the application procedure. The candidate should make sure that the eligibility criteria are satisfied before filling the examination. The candidate is responsible for the correct application form. The application will be filled and accepted through online mode only. The registration will start in September 2018 and end in October 2018. Candidates would register on the UPSC Portal and fill the application form. The application form will be submitted with the submission of Application Fee.
